According to
TMZ, Paris Hilton had her assistant call the DMV ahead of time to tell them to turn off their cell phones, and to also prepare things so that Paris wouldn't have to wait in line. Basically, the employees done it as if they were trying to keep an angry king from a foreign country happy - not a hormonal fake blonde with a small dog. Well, we don't know if the hair is fake, but nevertheless.. It's definitely not naturally THAT blonde.
I think it's pretty pathetic that a government office, no matter how minuscule, is kissing her ass like that. They should have kept their phones on; it's a free country, and there is no law against keeping your phone on in the DMV, no matter what "celebrity" walks in.

@hexogen - Yeah, seriously. I think it boils down to her not wanting pictures taken because she didn't want someone to see her drivers license picture, or some crap like that.

@pillowpixies - a life w/ power and KNOWING people will do things just for you because to them... You are special.. everyone wants to feel that in some way shape or form, celebrity-wise though.. i think it drains them out.. gets old and tiresome..
@CrazyMaestro - It would get boring really quickly to be treated like you were something totally awesome. Plus, you'd undoubtedly be surrounded by fake friends. It'd all be fake.

@lonelywanderer2 - It would be interesting to know the real her. I mean, does anybody other than (possibly) family know who she really is? She may actually have a brain hidden beneath all that blonde hair that she likes to use as a stepping stone for her facade.
@pillowpixies - Exactly. With all her business ventures, and the money and worldly contacts she's had access to, she can't be as stupid as she pretends. She is probably quite intelligent. I hope to one day see that side of her.
@lonelywanderer2 - That's a pretty good point. The only way she would be able to be stupid was if someone else was handling all of her financial business, which I don't know who handles her business behind the scenes. I would love to see a smart side of her. A human side, really; rather than one that tries to please the public eye.
@pillowpixies - Keep in mind, I'm a straight guy, so it's not that I don't aprreciate the "hot party girl". I just think (and hope) there must be so much more to her than that!
@lonelywanderer2 - Aha, yeah, I definitely know what you're saying. The look is great, the fact that she CAN go out and party the night away is great; but the wall of egotistical stupidity can be a turn off to many.
