  • People aren't taking marriage seriously anymore.

Some people are, but not all. Such as this couple who, right after their civil marriage ceremony, automatically started arguing. This says to me that they weren't made for each other to begin with, and that they most likely didn't know one another at all; though I don't know this for sure as it's not included in the article. It also doesn't say what they were arguing over. No matter what occurred to cause the argument, I still find this pretty pathetic.

"BERLIN - A Polish couple living in Germany fell out after tying the knot and decided to end their marriage on the same day.

"He said he never wanted to see her again and wanted an immediate annulment, and she said the same thing," a spokesman for police in the northern city of Hanover said Thursday.

Right after the civil ceremony Wednesday, the 50-year-old man began rowing with his bride and tried to cut her hair with a kitchen knife, police said."

Sometimes I wish people would just grow up. That includes all of the people who get five minute marriages, week long marriages, month long marriages. If you get divorced so soon after getting married, it's pretty obvious that you had no clue what you were doing or getting into. This is why people are urged to take their time so much!
